.…CALLS FOR PEACE, UNITY AMONG NIGERIANS
The National Vice Chairman South-South Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), DCN Kenneth Otuonunyo (JP) have facilitated with ALL Muslims in Nigeria and all over the world as they celebrate their Eld-El Fitr festival and Ramadan, which marks the successful completion of the Ramadan feast.
In his good will message DCN Otuonunyo (JP), urged all Muslims to always sustain and reciprocate the moral lessons of the holy months and apply moral lessons of the holy month and apply them to their daily life activities for the good of the common man and the society. He asked all Muslim all over the Nation to sustain the devotion and the acts of worship performed during the holy month and imbibed the various lessons learnt especially from the Tasfsir sessions for the good of the society humanity and religion.
He continued that Eld El Fitr festival means sacrifices, selflessness, love and obedience to the religion of Islam and therefore asked every Muslim to draw ending lessons from the Ramadam by showing love for one another as well as promoting peaceful and harmonious co-existence among our diverse people in the nation. I therefore enjoined all Muslims over the Nation to carry out those attributes such as remembering the poor, less privileges and those afflicted by poverty, destitute amongst others during and beyond the Ramadan.
On the economic and security challenges being experienced by Nigerians, I encouraged Nigerians not to lose faith, hope and sight in the face of the above stated challenges but should remain resolute, focus, steadfast and strong in prayers and support for our security agents most especially the Nigeria Police, with faith, that the trying security moments will soon be over and we will emerged more united and stronger security and economics wise.
